Granted, the negative ads by the Republican-supportive super PACs would pile up, but he could become more of a babe of the media. He could run commercials about how he did not support the new type ond point out how bad the new type of advertising had gotten under the Republicans.

If we read into this move, it is easy to say President Obama will take a stand until it has negative implications against his presidency. It makes a statement of how his campaign ethics are wavy at best. He could have stood proud at the debates when questions were asked about campaign ads and super PACs. President Obama could point out the tens of millions his opponent was routing through the Republican super PACs and flooding our TVs with commercials. He could have labeled it as a propaganda campaign which was ruining American politics. Instead, he had given in and decided to be on level ground monetarily with his opponents instead of being on an ethical higher ground.
